The second SRSB Network Event of 2006 was held on 22nd of November 2006 on the following topic:
“Working with Young People Who Will Not Engage”
This event looked at the difficulties encountered by staff when working with young people who will not engage with, the Juvenile Justice System; services provided by the Department of Health & Children/Health Service Executive; the Education System or with community based interventions. Methods of working to enable or to motivate the young people to engage with the services provided were explored.
